416 started as a challenge on Authonomy, the online writers' site, by one of the members, Adam Sifre. To write a story for Halloween. And each story to be EXACTLY 416 words, plus title... This is the result. And it's a free download, too.
Morgen Bailey runs a brilliant blog site. She helps new authors get a little exposure, and one of the ways she does this is to post short stories they have written. She has some of mine on there. They are free, too.
